About DEATH NOTE THE MUSICAL
DEATH NOTE THE MUSICAL reimagines Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata’s manga for London. With over 30 million copies sold worldwide, the story follows brilliant student Light Yagami after he discovers a notebook with the power over life and death, setting off a battle of wits with the elusive detective L.
The production features a score by Tony, Grammy and Emmy nominee Frank Wildhorn, with lyrics by Jack Murphy and a book by Ivan Menchell. It presents the central conflict clearly: one name written in the notebook can change everything.
Running time: approximately 2 hours 20 minutes, including a 20-minute interval.
