About DEATH NOTE THE MUSICAL
DEATH NOTE THE MUSICAL brings the legendary manga by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata to London in collaboration with the original producers HoriPro. The story follows brilliant student Light Yagami, who finds a notebook with the power over life and death, and the battle of wits that follows with the elusive detective L.
With over 30 million copies sold worldwide, the story is set to Tony, Grammy and Emmy nominee Frank Wildhorn’s score, with lyrics by Jack Murphy and a book by Ivan Menchell. The production uses the original source material as its starting point while presenting it for the stage.
