DEATH NOTE THE MUSICAL brings the manga by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata to London in collaboration with original producers HoriPro. The production features a score by Tony, Grammy and Emmy nominee Frank Wildhorn, lyrics by Jack Murphy and a book by Ivan Menchell.
Based on a story that has sold over 30 million copies worldwide, the show follows brilliant student Light Yagami after he finds a notebook with the power over life and death. His attempt to reshape the world leads to a battle of wits with the elusive detective L.
The musical stages the Death Note story as a conflict built around one question: what happens when a name is written in the notebook?
