A Christmas Serenade; Tchaikovsky, Mozart & more

Join us for an enchanting evening of classical music for strings celebrating the warmth, magic and nostalgia of the festive season.

The programme features Mozart’s sparkling Divertimento in D major, Tchaikovsky’s gorgeous Autumn and Andante Cantabile, alongside much-loved excerpts from The Nutcracker. Increase yourself in Christmas spirit with a lush arrangement of Holst’s magical ‘In the Bleak Midwinter’. The evening culminates in a virtuosic performance of ‘Winter’ from legendary tango composer Astor Piazzolla’s ‘The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires’, featuring international violinist Harriet Mackenzie “Searing intensity… captivating.” The Strad.
