Sinatra The Musical

About Sinatra The Musical

Sinatra The Musical comes to the West End at the Aldwych Theatre from June 2026. Created by two-time Tony Award-winning writer Joe DiPietro and Olivier Award-winning, three-time Tony Award-winning director and choreographer Kathleen Marshall, it tells the story of Frank Sinatra’s rise from a young singer to a performer whose voice changed music history.

Set on New Year’s Eve 1942, the musical follows Sinatra as his career begins to surge after a performance at New York City’s Paramount Theatre. As his success grows, so do the pressures around his private life, with his marriage to Nancy and his relationship with Ava Gardner at the centre of the story.

The production features more than twenty classic songs, including “That’s Life”, “One For My Baby”, “The Best Is Yet to Come” and “I’ve Got the World on a String”. It presents a portrait of Sinatra at a turning point in both his career and personal life.
