Sinatra The Musical

About Sinatra The Musical

Sinatra The Musical at the Aldwych Theatre is set for the West End from June 2026. Written by two-time Tony Award winner Joe DiPietro and directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall, it follows Frank Sinatra from New Year’s Eve 1942, when he steps onto the stage of New York City’s Paramount Theatre as a 27-year-old singer.

The story traces Sinatra’s rise as his voice captures a nation, while his private life becomes increasingly fraught. His marriage to Nancy, his relationship with Ava Gardner, and the impact of scandal and a hostile press all form part of the musical’s dramatic arc.

The show includes more than twenty classic songs, among them “That’s Life”, “One For My Baby”, “The Best Is Yet to Come” and “I’ve Got the World on a String”.

Running time: Approx. 2 hours 45 minutes, including 1 interval.
