Billy Elliot The Musical

About Billy Elliot the Musical

Billy Elliot the Musical follows Billy in a northern town during the miners’ strike of 1984/5, as he moves from the boxing ring to the ballet class and discovers a passion for dance.

Created by the award-winning team behind the film and featuring music by Elton John, the musical returns to London and the UK ten years after it last played there.

The story centres on Billy’s effect on his family and community, and on the way art changes the course of his life.
