Billy Elliot The Musical

About Billy Elliot the Musical

Billy Elliot the Musical returns to London after ten years away from its original UK home. The show follows Billy, a boy in a northern town during the miners’ strike of 1984/5, as he moves from the boxing ring to the ballet class and discovers a passion for dance that changes his life.

Brought to life by the creative team behind the film, the production features music by Elton John. It tells a story of family, community and the effect of art on ordinary lives, with Billy’s determination at its centre.

Seen by almost 12 million people across five continents and honoured with more than 80 awards worldwide.
