Billy Elliot the Musical tells the story of Billy’s journey from the boxing ring to the ballet class in a northern town during the miners’ strike of 1984/5. As he discovers a passion for dance, the show follows how that choice changes his life and affects his family and community.
The musical features music by Elton John and was created by the award-winning creative team behind the film. Ten years after it last played to audiences in London and the UK, it returns to the city where it first became a major stage success.
