Billy Elliot The Musical

About Billy Elliot the Musical

Billy Elliot the Musical returns to London, set in a northern town during the miners’ strike of 1984/5. The story follows Billy as he moves from the boxing ring to the ballet class and discovers dance for the first time.

Ten years after it last played to audiences in London and the UK, the musical comes back to its original home. It traces how Billy’s determination affects his family and community as he pursues something that changes his life.

Created by the award-winning team behind the film and featuring music by Elton John, Billy Elliot the Musical is one of the most successful British musicals of its kind.
