Review of Blight Town, You Win Again, Gravity! and FRAKTIONS @ 229, London
An old codger who was encouraged to go to this gig by his son. To see bands I’d never heard of at a venue I’d never been to. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. A variety of bands and styles of music in an intimate venue, with very reasonable ticket price. Great to be able to support emerging talent. A couple of different band members took time to say hello and chat to my son who has had contact with them over social media. Live music and gigs without the pomp. Even the doorman was a happy chappie. These are the gigs where it all begins. Keep at it thank you all for a great night of music.

Review of Blight Town, You Win Again, Gravity! and FRAKTIONS @ 229, London
I thought the bands were very good and professional, particularly FRAKTIONS who were quite astonishing. I would love to see them again sometime. Itâs rare to see a band that were so tight and expressive. Theyâve got me hooked!!

Review of Shiiine On : Bentley Rhythm Ace/John Power/ Mark Morriss
Only reason I’m reducing atmosphere rating is bc a lot of people had been drinking since early doors so by the time live bands came on they were stinking drunk and being a pain, loud chatter and laughing plus a couple of play fights.
Great venue, shame John had to pull out but luckily mark is really popular and kept the shine on it.
Price was reasonable for London at such a central venue
