THE 5.6.7.8's

+ special guests

While their biggest international exposure was a cameo in the Quentin Tarantino film 'Kill Bill', The 5.6.7.8.'s are much more than one-hit wonders, bearing the proud distinction of being the longest-running Japanese garage rock groups.

The 5.6.7.8.'s is the brainchild of sisters Ronnie 'Yoshiko' Fugiyama and Fujii Sachiko, the band were formed in 1986 at the height of the Garage Rock craze that swept through Tokyo at that time.

Notable singles released since the debut 'Mondo Girls A-Go-Go' E.P. in 1989 include 'I Was A Teenage Cave Woman' (1991), 'I Walk Like Jayne Mansfield' (1993), 'Bomb The Twist' (1996), 'Pin Heel Stomp' (1997), and 'Pretty Little Lily Can Dance No More' (2002).

In 2002, Quentin Tarantino overheard The 5.6.7.8.'s in a record shop and invited them to star in his 2003 'Kill Bill' film where they performed three songs including 'Woo Hoo' which, once released, reached #24 in the UK charts.
