TURVEY Live in Liverpool

Turvey was formed in late-2025 by 20-year-old Liverpool-born guitarist & songwriter Paddy Turvey. Following his departure from his previous band, he planned to form a new one that would be the perfect vehicle for his songs and creative direction, featuring a melodic hard rock and AOR influenced sound; the band would be the perfect vehicle to fulfil this vision. Turvey features Harry Joseph (drums), Liam McCabe (bass) and Freedom Wall (rhythm guitar).

On 20th January 2026 the band released their debut single ‘The Phoenix’. This is a high energy, up-tempo, heavy melodic rock track, featuring Callum Byron on lead vocals, that has become a staple as the opener in their live sets. This was followed up on 20th June 2026 with their sophomore release ‘Better Off Without’, continuing the attitude and themes established previously by ‘The Phoenix.’ 

‘The Phoenix’ was featured on Hard Rock Hell Radio’s ‘Jax Trax’ (with Girlschool’s Jackie Chambers), Gary Reddin’s ‘Hometown Heroes’ segment on Mersey Radio, as well as the band previously appearing with Sean Styles on BBC Merseyside in late-2025.

TURVEY headline the Jacaranda on 31st July in the famous basement. Supports TBA.
