Babyskin is a one woman play written and performed by Issy Riley Thomas. Set in a pretentious art gallery, Babyskin is an exhibition of the trans body and the trans-feminine experience. This coming of age story sees our protagonist Charlotte navigating dating, romance, sex and hookup culture. Babyskin is largely autobiographical and is a love letter to young transgender women and people who exist outside of the binary. We deserve to have stories depicting us as people outside of our identities.
TRIGGER WARNING: The play features strobe lighting and strong themes of transphobia and sexual assault.
