Funhouse Comedy Club Comedy Night

Funhouse Comedy is back at the Lyric Rooms, Ashby-de-la-Zouch on Thursday December 3rd for more fun and laughter.

Topping the bill is actor, stand-up and winner of the English Comedian of The Year the appealing Brennan Reece, who has appeared on 'Live at the Apollo' and supported Rob Brydon and Joe Lycett on tour. His lively and sometimes uncomfortable attitude to life is perceptible in his fast paced, vibrantly drawn, hilarious tales.

Opening the night will be winner of ITV's 'Show Me The Funny' the instantly loveable and unique Patrick Monahan, with his trademark hyperactive and freewheeling charm. Following the release of his debut DVD he was a guest on Loose Women and also appeared alongside Philip Schofield and Jason Manford on ITV's Comedy Annual. More recently he appeared on ITV's Splash. Of Irish-Iranian descent but brought up on Teeside he shares tales of his memories. He exudes warmth and charisma; his friendly style mixed with his hilarious story telling leaves his audiences wanting for more.

Also appearing will be Matt Price; known for having some of the most extraordinary and outrageous stories drawn from the wilder side of life. Hailing from Cornwall; he brings true warmth and heart to the stage whilst finding some audacious laughs in the most unexpected places.

Completing the line-up is Les Keen, the hardest working (and funniest) man in comedy. Even if you don't know his face, you'll have laughed at his sharp gags and catchphrases, think "no likey, no lighty". He is also a documentary maker, producer, creator and performer.

Compere for the night will be the amiable and animated Spiky Mike.
