The Drugstore Cowboys Boxing Day Bash | The Donkey, Leicester

The Donkeytonkin’ Hoedown returns this Boxing Day, and we’re bringing back some old friends!

Longtime champions of The Donkey, The Drugstore Cowboys are thrilled to return to their old stomping ground for a proper post-Christmas knees-up.

A staple of Leicester and the wider East Midlands’ grassroots music scene, this power trio have spent decades delivering high-octane rock ’n’ roll, mixing up rockabilly, country blues and country rock with raw energy and plenty of attitude.

So, after all the Christmas Day shenanigans, the turkey, the tinsel and the family festivities, it’s time to let your hair down, dust off those dancing shoes and get back to what Boxing Day is all about : great live music, good times and a few drinks with your favourite people.

Join us at The Donkey for our traditional Boxing Day Bash, with The Drugstore Cowboys bringing the noise from 4pm until late.

Saddle up, get involved and let’s make it a Boxing Day to remember!
