The Donkey Opening Launch Party

The wait is finally over.
We’re officially opening our doors on Saturday 3rd October, and we’re kicking things off with a seriously good line-up of live bands and DJs.

FUFU SAILORS
A high-energy, seven-piece party band bringing the good times from the very first note. Expect genre-blending sets, mashups and medleys spanning decades of Ska, Rock, Funk, Soul and everything in between.

HEART SAUCE
Leicester’s own indie-lofi outfit, blending dreamy crooner ballads with cosmic disco — or, as they like to call it, “life music.” Groovy, funky guitar soundscapes, velvety vocals and bittersweet lyrics make for a sound that’s both laid-back and seriously infectious.

JONNA
A Leicester nightlife institution, DJ, producer and co-founder of influential underground house label City Fly Records. Jonna has been at the heart of Leicester’s soulful dance music scene for years, bringing deep grooves and serious house selections to the decks.

CHRIS LONG
A highly respected vinyl DJ and selector with decades of experience behind the decks. Expect an eclectic journey through Soul, Funk, Disco, Boogie and House, with a deep-rooted love of original hip-hop breaks thrown into the mix.
