Join the Friends of Melton Carnegie Museum for a talk by Michael Burton on this beautiful fairy story that has charmed generations of children. Scarcely remembered now is the central part it played in the famous Darwinian evolotion debate, not the boost it gave to the advancement of women's rights.
Free for Friends members, £3 for non-members.
