On Sunday 1st November, get ready for an unforgettable afternoon packed with live entertainment, music, dancing, Halloween characters, trick or treating and plenty of surprises for the whole family.

From the moment you step inside Athena, there'll be something happening. Expect live shows on the Halloween Live stage, a huge family disco packed with party favourites and Halloween classics, roaming characters, interactive entertainment and plenty of opportunities to get involved. 🎤🎶

And Halloween wouldn't be Halloween without sweets! 🍬 Grab your trick or treat bag and explore our Halloween Live Trick or Treat Trail, with spooky surprises waiting to be discovered around the venue 🎃👻

Then make sure you come dressed to impress! Our Huge Fancy Dress Competition will take over the main stage, with prizes up for grabs and some of Leicester's best little monsters invited onto the Halloween Live stage! 🧙‍♀️🧛‍♂️🦇

Who is Halloween Live for?
Halloween Live has been created for children and families to enjoy together.

It's a fun, colourful and exciting Halloween celebration rather than a scary Halloween attraction and is perfect for children aged 3-12 and their families.

Younger children are also very welcome to attend.

Do babies and under-2s need a ticket?
Children under 2 can attend Halloween Live FREE! 👶🎃
A free Under-2 ticket must still be booked for each child attending, as everyone inside the venue counts towards our overall capacity.

Please note that Halloween Live is primarily designed for children aged 3-12 and their families.

Do we need to come in fancy dress?
Fancy dress isn't compulsory, but we'd LOVE you to dress up! 🎃
Witches, ghosts, monsters, superheroes, vampires and everything in between are welcome.

We'll be searching for some of the best costumes in the building to take part in our Huge Fancy Dress Competition on the Halloween Live main stage, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs! 🏆

Who needs a ticket?
Everyone attending Halloween Live requires their own ticket, with the exception of eligible essential companions.

Children under 2 attend free but must have a free Under-2 ticket booked in advance.

Can adults attend without children?
Halloween Live is a family event, so all groups must include at least one child.

Everyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over.

Is Halloween Live scary?
No!

Halloween Live is designed to be fun rather than frightening.
Expect pumpkins, ghosts, witches, monsters, music and plenty of spooky Halloween fun, but Halloween Live isn't a horror or scare attraction.

Are all activities included in my ticket?
Your admission includes the main-stage entertainment, Huge Family Disco, Trick or Treat Trail, Halloween characters, Fancy Dress Competition, Spectacular Halloween Finale and a selection of games and activities around the venue.

We'll also be announcing some exclusive Halloween experiences in the run-up to the event. ✨

These will be completely optional premium experiences, available to purchase separately in limited numbers.

Can I buy the premium experiences later if I've already bought my ticket?
Yes! 🎃
Our premium Halloween experiences will be announced in the run-up to the event. Existing Halloween Live ticket holders will have the opportunity to purchase these separately, subject to availability.

Will there be food and drink available?
Yes. A range of food, sweets, treats and drinks will be available to purchase throughout the event, with a licensed bar available for adults.

No externally purchased food or drink may be brought into the venue, subject to exemptions for medical or accessibility requirements.

Is the event suitable for children sensitive to noise or flashing lights?
Halloween Live is a large live event featuring amplified music, theatrical lighting, special effects and flashing lights.

Parents and carers know their children best, so please consider this before booking. We recommend bringing suitable ear defenders if your child is sensitive to loud environments.
