Reviews of Assembly House in Leeds

Assembly House venue information

Assembly House is an artist-led studio space in Leeds. Situated in a historic textiles mill along the Leeds Liverpool canal, the studio plays host to a varied group of creatives, with work ranging from fine art painting and sculpture to illustration, photography and design.

The shared ambition among this group was to establish an affordable space for making individual work, and to create a co-operative working environment. Our belief is that diversity enriches artistic practice, and that being around an eclectic range of artistic disciplines, ideas and attitudes is vital.

A newly-built project space within the studios plays host to a monthly programme of exhibitions, screenings, events and more. If you have a proposal for a project, show, screening, talk, workshop or event of any kind we’d love to hear from you.

All of our full-time studio spaces are currently full, but we can often accomodate temporary workspace for projects, and can add you to a waiting list for studio space. To find out more, drop us an email and we can arrange a viewing.

Assembly House Studios are located at 44 Canal Road, Armley, Leeds LS12 2PL.
