Steely Don live at the Gregson Arts Centre, Lancaster

Steely Don celebrate the music of Steely Dan and Donald Fagen, bringing together a full live band with horn section to perform some of the most distinctive and sophisticated music of the past five decades.

Drawing on Steely Dan's unique blend of rock, jazz, funk, R&B, blues and Latin influences, the band recreate the songs and arrangements with the musicianship and attention to detail this remarkable music deserves.

The set spans the Steely Dan catalogue and Donald Fagen's solo work, from Reelin' In The Years, Do It Again, Rikki Don't Lose That Number, Peg, Josie, Kid Charlemagne and FM to album tracks and less familiar favourites for the committed Steely Dan fan.

At the heart of all this, is a group of exceptional musicians who genuinely love this music and love playing it.
