Land Of The Lost

We go again! Those that were with us in April will know that something special is bubbling in Kendal, and for our next event we are happy to share a celebration of 5 years of Paisley Dark Records, where we'll be joined by Paisley Dark head honcho John Paynter.

John is a Leeds-based DJ, producer, promoter and label head navigating the outer edges of electronic music - where psychedelic textures collide with Balearic bliss, cosmic disco, dub pressure and heads-down techno. His sets are journeys: slow-burning, shape-shifting and rich in atmosphere, built from deep crates and an instinct for the unexpected. Leeds natives will know of his Paisley Dark residency at Outlaws Yacht Club, and John's also well known as a producer under his A Space Age Freak Out umbrella.

Over the years, he has shared booths with an enviable roll call of underground heavyweights: ALFOS, Andrew Weatherall, U.N.K.L.E, Richard Norris, Logan Fisher, Duncan Gray, Richard Sen, Justin Robertson, James Holroyd, A Certain Ratio, Paranoid London.... and we're super excited for him to join us at Land Of The Lost!
