Tengu presents: Efa O'Neill All Night Long

This Saturday August 8th we are delighted to welcome one of Ireland's finest selectors back to the Tengu booth for a very special All Night Long set!

Efa O’Neill has spent the past decade fully immersed in the Irish music scene. From small beginnings in Kerry which has taken her to new stages across Ireland and further afield in London, Ibiza and New York, her sound has travelled through from intimate rooms to festival main stages and all in between.

Her sets are guided by groove, tension and genre fluidity which contrast moods and environments. Deep rhythms, bass weight, crisp percussion and unexpected turns sit at the centre of her approach, moving fluidly through house, techno, broken beats and footwork without ever settling in one place. With her broad approach, she also crafts ambient and experimental soundscapes which incorporate field recording in her work for more atmospheric moments outside of the club - the definition of an eclectic selector.

Rooted in the underground, Efa is a selector with an instinct for energy and atmosphere - knowing when to build pressure, switch direction and keep a dancefloor locked in.
