About
Java Light are a five-piece alternative indie rock band from across Cork, Laois, and Kildare. Formed on Valentine's Day 2025 (ooh la la), they've been writing, scheming, and playing every gig they can get their hands on ever since.
Their sound blends atmospheric indie textures with driving rhythms, melodic hooks, and an energetic live presence, balancing tight musicianship, creative lyrics, and immersive sets that make audiences jump around and shed a tear (maybe at the same time!).
Recent highlights include shows at Cyprus Avenue, Fred Zeppelin's, and a New Year's Eve performance at Hamilton's Bar. With their first two singles set for release this summer, Java Light are just getting started.
