Chew The Fat! returns with one of the most exciting bookings in its history. Leftfield — now Neil Barnes — are synonymous with the birth of the UK's leftfield electronic and progressive house movement, and have soundtracked dancefloors and festivals across the globe for over three decades. Their landmark albums Leftism (1995) and Rhythm and Stealth (1999) remain touchstones of British dance music, and their live shows continue to captivate audiences worldwide.
This intimate DJ set offers Ipswich music lovers a rare and very special opportunity to experience Leftfield up close — a night of deep, pounding, breakbeat, house, techno expertly crafted electronic music in a club setting.

ABOUT LEFTFIELD
Formed in London in the early 1990s, Leftfield are one of the most influential acts in the history of UK electronic music. Pioneers of the leftfield house and progressive house genres, their debut album Leftism was named one of the greatest albums of all time by NME and the Guardian, and featured the iconic single Open Up with John Lydon. Following the departure of Paul Daley, Neil Barnes has continued to perform and record as Leftfield, releasing the acclaimed albums Alternative Light Source (2015) and This Is What We Do (2023), cementing the project's enduring relevance on the world stage.

Chew The Fat! Became a global club brand in the 90’s & 00’s known for its breakbeat led parties, starting with a weekly residency every Friday at The Bug Bar in Brixton in 1996. Paul ‘Trouble’ Arnold soon toured Chew The Fat! To Ibiza, Europe, South America and every year for a decade to the sunny shores of Australia. With a hiatus of 15 years Paul Arnold has brought CTF party back to his home town of Ipswich, first with the Godfather of house Marshall Jefferson, now Leftfield!
