High School Musical

About High School Musical

High School Musical arrives at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre this autumn, celebrating 20 years since Disney’s original film became a global sensation. The show follows Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High as they deal with first love, friendships and self-discovery alongside classes, basketball games, auditions and peer pressure.

This new production brings the story to the stage with extended staging and on-stage seating designed to place the audience in the middle of the action. It features the songs from the film, including Breaking Free, Get’cha Head in the Game, Stick to the Status Quo and We’re All In This Together.

Current cast: Harry Judd (McFly) as Coach Bolton, KayCee Stroh (Martha) as Ms Darbus, Tobias Turley as Troy, Leonor Correia as Gabriella, Caitlin Tipping as Sharpay and Luke Bayer as Ryan. The production is co-directed by Hope Mill Theatre founders Joseph Houston and William Whelton, with choreography by Aaron Renfree, a book by David Simpatico and music adapted, arranged and produced by Bryan Louiselle.
