About High School Musical

High School Musical at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre celebrates 20 years since Disney’s High School Musical became a global sensation. This new production brings Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High to the stage as they balance first love, friendships, self-discovery, classes, basketball games, auditions and the expectations of their peers.

The production uses extended staging and on-stage seating to place the audience in the middle of the action, transforming the Troubadour stage into an East High setting. It features the songs from the original film, including Breaking Free, Get’cha Head in the Game, Stick to the Status Quo and We’re All In This Together.

Co-directed by Hope Mill Theatre founders Joseph Houston and William Whelton, the show has choreography by Aaron Renfree, with a book by David Simpatico and music adapted, arranged and produced by Bryan Louiselle.
