High School Musical at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre celebrates 20 years since Disney’s High School Musical became a global sensation. This new production follows Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High as they navigate first love, friendships and self-discovery alongside classes, basketball games, auditions and the expectations of their peers.

The production is co-directed by Hope Mill Theatre founders Joseph Houston and William Whelton, with choreography by Aaron Renfree, a book by David Simpatico and music adapted, arranged and produced by Bryan Louiselle. Extended staging and on-stage seating are part of the design, placing the audience close to the action.

Key facts: The show includes songs from the original movie such as Breaking Free, Get’cha Head in the Game, Stick to the Status Quo and We’re All In This Together.

Before you book

Age guidance: Suitable for ages 6+. All children under 16 must have a valid ticket and be accompanied by and seated with an adult.

Access performances: Signed/Captioned performance on Wednesday 11th November at 7:30pm. Audio Described performance on Wednesday 18th November at 7:30pm.

Harry Judd (McFly) stars as Coach Bolton, with original High School Musical film cast member KayCee Stroh as Ms Darbus. Tobias Turley plays Troy, Leonor Correia plays Gabriella, Caitlin Tipping plays Sharpay and Luke Bayer plays Ryan.
