High School Musical plays at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre this autumn, celebrating 20 years since Disney’s original film became a global sensation. The story follows Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High as they navigate first love, friendships and self-discovery alongside classes, basketball games, auditions and the expectations of their peers.
This new production is co-directed by Hope Mill Theatre founders Joseph Houston and William Whelton, with choreography by Aaron Renfree, a book by David Simpatico, and music adapted, arranged and produced by Bryan Louiselle. The Troubadour stage is transformed into an immersive East High experience with extended staging and on-stage seating.
