About

About High School Musical

High School Musical comes to Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre this autumn, 20 years after Disney’s film became a global sensation. The story follows Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High as they navigate first love, friendships, self-discovery, classes, basketball games, auditions and the expectations of their peers.

The production uses extended staging and on-stage seating, turning the Troubadour stage into East High. It is co-directed by Hope Mill Theatre founders Joseph Houston and William Whelton, choreographed by Aaron Renfree, with a book by David Simpatico and music adapted, arranged and produced by Bryan Louiselle. The show features songs from the original movie, including Breaking Free, Get’cha Head in the Game, Stick to the Status Quo and We’re All In This Together.

Key facts: Signed/Captioned performance: Wednesday 11th November, 7:30pm. Audio Described performance: Wednesday 18th November, 7:30pm.
