High School Musical

About High School Musical

Celebrating 20 years since Disney’s High School Musical became a global sensation, High School Musical arrives at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre in a new production. It follows Troy, Gabriella and the students of East High as they balance first love, friendships and self-discovery with classes, basketball games, auditions and the expectations of their peers.

The staging turns the theatre into an immersive East High experience, with extended staging and on-stage seating placing the audience close to the action. The production includes songs from the original film, including Breaking Free, Get’cha Head in the Game, Stick to the Status Quo and We’re All In This Together.

Key facts: Co-directed by Hope Mill Theatre founders Joseph Houston and William Whelton, with choreography by Aaron Renfree, a book by David Simpatico and music adapted, arranged and produced by Bryan Louiselle.
