We sat in the "cheap seats" which were almost £40 per person. (not exactly family friendly prices).  There were four of us in our group. The seats we had were in the 2nd row from the back so we could not see much of the performance. The Abbey was freezing (I had read that in the speel somewhere after I booked) so fortunately I had taken a hot water bottle with me to help keep warm. I definitely would have been miserable without it. 
The singing was average and at times, quite screechy. 
Not the best experience or, in my opinion, good value for money.

Review of Christmas - The Candlelight Concert

Just a trueley excellent evening of music. So looking forward to attending more of these events  in the future.

We left at the interval.  Experienced did not meet expectations

Absolutely loved it. The singers were amazing.  It's really got me into the christmas spirit

This was not at all what we were expecting. The sound mix was awful - we couldn't hear the band above the vocalists who were far too loud and drowned out the music. The best bit of the evening was the lovely lighting of the Abbey. Also, the forced jollity and chumminess just didn't suit the occasion (this was Tewkesbury Abbey after all, not Las Vegas) and sadly we left at the interval....doubt we'll be going back to any Xperience Live events any time soon.

Although music was enjoyable and singers/musicians brilliant, it didnt seem appropriate for the Abbey.  A large choir would have been more what a would have imagined for a christmas event in the Abbey.

Very disappointed, the performance was late starting, the band came on as if they were lost, the singers we're disorganised and standard of singing poor. I will not be attending any of your concerts again neither will I be recommending anyone else to go.
