THE ROOTED WORK
Some of the most important change begins beneath the surface.
Like the roots of a tree, the foundations of creativity, resilience and connection are often unseen, yet they sustain everything that follows. This experience invites you to explore those foundations through one of humanity's oldest creative practices: carving wood by hand.
The act of carving wood by hand creates conditions that are difficult to manufacture in a meeting room. Attention narrows. Conversation deepens. The material is itself — it responds to how you approach it, not to how you present yourself. Across an evening and two full days, something shifts.
We have seen this happen with leadership teams at moments of transition, with groups exploring how they want to work together, and with organisations trying to reconnect with what they are actually for. The experience does not prescribe outcomes. It creates the conditions for them.
