ConcreteSoul is a brand new party rooted in block-rocking hip-hop, classic funk, timeless soul sounds, dusty grooves, and top-drawer turntablism. A celebration of beats, breaks, rhymes and cuts, from across the eras and styles.

For our day party launch event we welcome a legend of hip-hop and one of the world's finest turntablists for a 3hr-set - MR THING.

First touching the tables in 1987, Mr Thing has been perfecting his art ever since and is now respected as one of the world's best DJs. A former member of the legendary Scratch Perverts, he also won the 2000 DMC UK DJ Championships, and has performed live and toured the world with the likes of Run DMC, Beastie Boys and J Live.

Alongside his DJ credentials, Mr Things boasts an enviable production discography alongside iconic mixtapes including 'STRANGE BREAKS & MR THING' and the aptly titled 'KINGS OF HIP HOP' with DJ Premier.
