Nadeem Din-Gabisi + Jurnalist + Ria Andrews in Edinburgh!

Nadeem Din-Gabisi brings his acclaimed debut Album OFFSHORE to Sketchy Beats Cafe in Edinburgh this October!

OFFSHORE, released in August 2025 on Moshi Moshi music, has received support from BBC 6Music, Byte FM, Somewhere Soul, Apple Music Playlists, as well as being featured in NPR, Worldwide FM and The Fader's list of Best New Albums, The Observer's, 'Ones To Watch', Clash Magazine and included on The Quietus and Electronic Sound Mags List of Best Albums of 2025.

Nadeem's music tackles themes of belonging, estrangement and identity with 'potent streams of consciousness'. Nadeem's live shows at Supernormal Festival, Sinsal Festival and Great Escape have showcased his 'big choruses and big energy which elevate themes of Black identity, cultural displacement, and spiritual resilience with a refined sense of composition and arrangement', expect to go on an adventure of loops, costumes, audience participation and the unexpected!

Jurnalist

Hailing from Los Angeles by way of Tennessee, and now firmly rooted in Scotland, Jurnalist has been making waves in the hip-hop, rap, grime and electronic music scenes across continents.

As a trained engineer and producer, his work as a vocalist brings a deep understanding of studio insights together with introspective and conversational lyrics within multiple genres.

Jurnalist has built a reputation as a bar-heavy, experimental artist and has left his stamp on the UK scene in many ways since landing here in 2022, such as: Performing live sets on radio stations including London's ModeFM, Glasgow's Sunny G and Dundee's JAM radio, Being hand-picked to perform for We Are Here Scotland's AMPLIFI gig serie, Performing for SNACK magazine's St James Quarter Sessions and much more!

As well as setting himself apart sonically from the conventional approach, Jurnalist also collaborates with artists, producers and engineers to showcase his talents across a range of genres in the UK music scene. Recent collaborations or ongoing projects include Manga Saint Hilare, Bay29 (High Focus Records), MsM The Engineer, Jazie Ostrich, Kai Reesu, Culture Clan, Billy Got Waves, JEmmanuel and more.

Ria Andrews:

Ria is an Edinburgh based DJ and multi-hyphenate artist. Having played most recently at Kelburn Garden Party, Baile/Baile x Kin-tu Summer Party and a resident of Femmergy, she is known for her mixes that feature groovy riddims, heavy on percussion, catchy basslines and a fun remix selection. Think Soca, Dancehall, Amapiano, and Baile Funk...sometimes a lil House if she's feeling to - if it's a genre that you can move your waist to, guarantee she's playing it.
