Brilliant day. Great positive vibes.  Good stuff for kids. Felt safe for families. Loved Idlewild they aged a great set. I would say hopefully build on this year for next year. Maybe add one more kids thing. One more food stand for next year. In other words I don't think you have to do much more to build on for next year. Maybe higher profile for the youth stage. I didn't like all the bands on the main stage but that is just how it goes. 

Review of Daytripper

Great to have a wonderful local event like this and hope it will be back next year.

Great fun just a shame about how a local event was so bloody expensive.

Phenomenal 

Was a really good day out and I would definitely go again.  The venue and music were both excellent however I would have liked to see some more stalls/vendors there especially for the price of the ticket and a wider selection of drinks would have been nice.

The event had a lovely friendly atmosphere and was really enjoyable. The park is a beautiful setting and safe environment for kids. There was a good selection of food stalls, and the music was great. The only downside was the adult tickets were quite expensive. I think a lot more people would have gone if the adult tickets had been more affordable. The youth tickets were good value. Hopefully it might become an annual event. 

Great day.  Even when it started raining it didn't seem to matter as the music carried you through.  Although Idlewild could have played a bit longer but I think they felt sorry for the crowd standing in the rain and didn't want to keep them out too long.  Hopefully this will become an annual event and can lure some other big bands along.  Thanks to Alan and Claire for organising.

Really good. More veggie food and a Belhaven Beer tent please. Whitehill Grove amazing. More rock/punk like them.  Some music was easy listening rather than energising . Maybe all day tickets, afternoon or evening might attract more people if price was right. Well done Lauderdale cafe lot - it takes guts to take a risk. 

This is such a fantastic idea and I truly hope it continues annually from now on. I do think, however, the event can be improved in a couple of minor ways – I was a bit disappointed by the small variety and number of food stalls, and children's entertainment. That might be a result of high expectations, but the event was billed as being a "feastival", and three food stalls don't really add up to that. As it happens, I think any more stalls *this* year would have been overkill for the number of people there -- but they did run out of chips, which was considered a small disaster, so... I would hope that next year, if it returns, there will be more families, and there should definitely be far more examples of local East Lothian caterers and food producers. Likewise other product stalls and definitely children's entertainment. That was a bit thin on the ground, and was only saved by the fact that Lauderdale Park is the *best* venue for kids, as they do have the playpark to play in. But the really high price of the children's tickets wasn't justified. All in all, I think there should be more and better attention paid to hosting more food stalls and entertainment, but the event was a fantastic day, well organised and great fun.
