About
Dundee Dub Club has been developing over the last year and we hold a monthly club at Canvas Taproom. It is free entry and runs from 7pm until midnight.
There are a number of core selectors & emcees who play in rotation and we try to have guest selectors each month. Being a fairly large team there is an eclectic selection from ska to deep roots and more contemporary four to the floor dub bangers; with space for all things reggae in between played side by side on vinyl and digital.
Canvas is the home of 71 Brewing and they have fine ales produced at the brewery alongside soft drinks & coffee. It's a great space with outdoor seating and inside has sofas and comfy chairs & a table with boardgames! The place is well worth checking out.
We are putting on dub club as a platform for people to enjoy reggae music and to promote more love in our community. Within the collective there are some soundsystems and other events are put on in the area; look out for more dub around the dee
