Review of Proper Fest

Absolutely disgusted! Event was poor & didn’t lead up to expectations but the real disappointment was my little girl won the drawing competition in the promise of if you were a winner you got a free family ticket or if you already had tickets  a refund would be processed.. I was contacted only a few days before in the know that it was more then likely that we had purchased tickets to say my little girl had one. When I replied to say I had purchased our tickets already I was ignored. I messaged a couple more times in case it was missed! Nothing! I then said I will review clacton festival at every opportunity because of this & only then was I contacted about a refund. A few months on & I’m still waiting for that refund even after giving my bank details over. Because my little girl won & I expected to get a refund I promised her that money was hers for winning. I have had to now give that money out of my pocket to save her the disappointment. Clacton festival should be ashamed!

Nothing set up for people walking to the venue, the stage was just full of a DJ equipment, this put all the shows on floor level meaning about 30 people could see what was going on, as normal over priced food and drink, this festival was set up for the proper festival the day after, total rubbish 

I took my family with me, the kids enjoyed the bouncy castles and we loved how they were FREE (unlimited). I accidentally pressed the wrong button for the prices, I was meant to do 4* this is because bouncy castles were FREE, but I have been told some stalls are charging a lot of money for things like ice cream! - I asked my family on prices. 
I have enjoyed it myself, sitting outside of the tent listening to music, downside was I couldnt really see the performance but the positives was, I had a lot of space and room around me, enjoyed some music, yummy chips, pringles, blowing bubbles and last but not least making memories.

Would never go here again total waste of money def not a family place. Over a hour for kids to go on a little ride . Over priced !!! Family clacton festival still not getting back to any one about refunds or mess !!!!
