Review of Heather Small Live in Chester Cathedral
Sound was of poor Quality. Queues to get in tho the venue were horrendous and the sound checks were pushed back 45 minutes. Last entry according to the venue was 7.45pm but the queues of people were still going in at 8.30pm so no i would not go to another concert here again.

The cathedral itself was breathtaking and looked stunning. It was nice to hear live music in a different surrounding. Heather small was there to do her job then go again. She didn't make it personal or pay any attention to the disability area.
The disability area was close to the stage but Because of the pillars and speakers you actually couldn't see anything, my friend has one leg
And the security guard stood in her way the whole time. He had a good free view ! I think the stage would be better in the middle so you would then have 4 areas of good viewing. We didn't see much of heather small with being stood near disability area.
The drinks were flat and warm. The acoustics were amazing! But leaving the venue there was one exit and made me feel nervous as was taking so long to leave. If there was a fire I don't know how we would get out so quick. In the end they did open a second exit. For £53 I think there should have been a warm up act and not a dj. Que to get in was also very long. There was more negatives
Than positives I'm afraid for this event.

Absolutely loved this, the acoustics were amazing ! Heathers voice was just perfecto & the atmosphere the DJ's created before and after the performance was just brilliant thank you

Instruction that you had to be in venue before 7.15 but they did not let people in till 7.15
the sound quality was poor so when Heather spoke you could not hear her
We were half down the main hall
She was late coming on and did less than an hour so for the price of the tickets it was not good vale for money
leaving the venue was restricted through a narrow door wat creating a long queue with trip hazards of the wires etc
Had been at a different venue the week before which was excellent so i think fault lies with the organisers of this gig

Told that last entry was 7.15, but people weren't allowed in until 7.45 and the queue was a few hundred metres long - people not moving and it was raining. Heather Small only came on late and did about 50 minutes! Her voice was good but couldn't hear her talking and the sound quality wasn't great. She even said we should be grateful she was there, as she had a 4 hour drive to get there. Only one way out after the concert which caused chaos, especially with the cloak room being in the way too. In all very disappointed! Will be asking for a refund.

Music and wpeeformance was great. However the venue organisation wasn't the best. 2 emails sent both read similar but the same nd email had a different entrance time. Nothing said new information enclosed so I chose not to read it. Left standing outside on the night form the 6:45 opening time original 6:30 until 7:15. Nobody informed us why. It was raining and lots of older people in the crowd. Apparently they were performing the sound checks which surely could have taken place as we were entering / going the bar etc. Also on exit there was one main door of the church that got extremely congested. No one thought again for 15mins or so to just remove the temporary barrier at the rear of the building next to the portable toilets. Wouldn't recommend cream classics co.

heather small was brilliant, the cathedral was beautiful.
coming out of the venue was a disaster waiting to happen!!
there was only one way out, and i felt very unsafe especially if we had to get out in an emergency!!
