paid six pounds for the ticket for the only free attraction being a sheep dog, with every other activity being a paid for ride which you could find at any free fun fair or fait

Not a great experience of this. Bus transfer to the park from the car park was where the good part started and ended.
To be fair, the weather was rubbish, but the PA was not understandable, however no hot air balloons took off, it seems all displays cancelled, so what did i pay for? To be a captive audience to the fun fair, and with 3 children at around £3 a ride, it got expensive for the 2 hours we stayed.
And we couldn't even get the bus back....and with it still raining and the children getting cold, we walked back to the car park. We won't go again.

This event was very very poor, noting to see apart from funfair and food outlets.
Also a very long unstable walk with a child’s buggy to we’re the event was.
Absolute waste of money !!!

Didn't see any balloons take off hardly any stalls too look. Nowhere too go inside when it's raining we all got soaked! The prices for food was ridiculous
Didn't even go and see who was on stage being too far away. You couldn't even hear the music where we standing. Would I recommend No it was a shambles

It's a shame that this is called a Balloon Fiesta, as sadly experience shows that the balloons are rarely able to fly due to weather conditions. Many people were obviously very fed up when it was announced yet again that they wouldn't be flying on Friday. We were left with some average live music, a decent short firework display at the end, a noisy big truck experience that would regularly drown out the music, overpriced food & drink and a distinct lack of stewards, especially at the end when everybody was trying to leave via fields that had to be crossed with very little light! It felt that it was a mix of ideas for things to do/see with very little organisation/co-ordination. good intentions, but poor delivery I'm afraid. Thank goodness the weather was lovely as otherwise it would have been a disaster.

Its not their fault as the weather was rubbish.
There were no updates about the balloons.
When we arrived it looked like this event was made for people to come - Spend money on food and rides...

The whole thing around actual hot air balloons seemed to be just a myth as there was no sign of hot air balloons...

No balloons...
Massively disappointing we got there intending to spend the whole evening and despite perfect weather no balloons, the music wasn't great and there just wasn't enough there to keep you entertained for longer than 30 minutes.

Bit of rain and nothing seem to be happening good job the monster trucks were there otherwise a complete waste of money .
You need to sort out more activities for when it rains at that price of ticket.
Fairground rides were good but very expensive waiting around for nothing to happen .
Very disappointed won’t be coming again.

We first attended the event in its first year pre-covid and a few teething problems were had including parking issues, this year the parking was much better and the advantage of the shuttle bus made life even easier.

Sadly the weather let the event done but not the organisers fault and we will definitely be back next year!

I am aware that the balloons are weather dependent, my wife and I visited on Friday at 4pm, we waited until 6pm to be told there would be no ballons because of the wind, fully understand BUT why call the event Balloon Fiesta. The first act at 6pm was badly out of tune.
Without the balloons, it is not interesting for my wife and I, and we will not be going again.

No. Although understandable weather isn't great but all the rides only accept cash, who'd carry cash nowadays?
We have been 3 years before it was really good but not this time. There was no other events but the monster truck, it was dead. Not as many stalls, no activities interesting, the wheel is a lot smaller, rides are all for little children.
No balloons of course, due to wind & rain.
What a waste of £40 + for couple of hours.
The bus driving people to and from the car park was booming through the track as if he was a F1 driver.
1 staff says the balloon will be on, 2 others said don't know, 1 other said no it's off. No one knows what's going on.
An absolutly disaster!

Rubbish, all the vendors were either moaning or just miserable. No balloons because of rain. Had to park the car miles and walk. There was a bus but it was so full and took half hour to wait for another. Soooo expensive for rides/food. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t go again. 4hour round trip wasted.

As it was a balloon fiesta, we expected to at least see some balloons even if they were on the ground due to weather conditions however, there were no balloons at all!!!!!!! The monster truck was scooting around the arena like billyo, very noisy next to the stage which drowned out Blonde which was the only entertainment included in the ticket price. Not really sure what we paid the entrance fee for in the absence of balloons or anything to do with them as everything else incurred an extortionate cost once inside.
