Chelmsford Summer Series continues its bank holiday weekend headline line-up with the announcement of Sugababes and special guests Annie Mac, Melanie C (DJ Set), Jodie Harsh & Arthi, with a second stage to be announced hosted by Love International. Hosted at Central Park on Friday 28th August.
Bringing together one of the UK's most influential pop groups with a line-up spanning pop, dance and club culture, the show forms part of the new open-air summer series in the heart of Chelmsford.
Set within more than 35 acres of parkland, Central Park provides a distinctive setting for live music, combining open green space with the city's riverside and historic railway viaduct.
Sugababes
One of the most successful British pop groups of the past two decades, Sugababes have achieved six UK No.1 singles and multiple multi-platinum albums. With a catalogue of era-defining hits and a lasting impact on British pop, they continue to draw multi-generational audiences. Their recent return has seen them re-establish themselves as a formidable live act, performing to sold-out crowds and renewed critical acclaim, with a set that blends chart hits with deeper cuts from across their catalogue.
Annie Mac
Annie Macmanus is an author, broadcaster and DJ whose 20-year career has shaped UK music culture. A former BBC Radio 1 flagship presenter, she remains one of the most trusted and influential voices in music, performing at leading festivals and clubs worldwide. Her inclusive Before Midnight club concept has become a standout success, selling out shows across the UK.
Melanie C (dj set)
Melanie C is a multi-platinum British artist and DJ with a career spanning more than three decades. Rising to global fame as a member of the Spice Girls, she has sold over 100 million records worldwide and over 20 million as a solo artist. Her DJ sets draw on a deep-rooted connection to dance culture, blending house, techno and club classics with a distinctive crossover appeal.
Jodie Harsh
Jodie Harsh is a DJ, producer and cultural figure whose influence spans music, fashion and nightlife. A longstanding presence on the international club circuit, she is known for high-energy sets that draw on house, pop and underground club sounds.
Arthi
Arthi's continent-crossing sets fuse high-octane club sounds from garage to soca, funkyhouse, kuduro, bassline and beyond.Her playful skanks behind the decks capture a love for DJing that she first developedthrough performing as a dancer for artists including Beyoncé, Dave and Charli XCX.
