If you know, you know… and if you don’t, 2027 might just be the year you discover Preston Summerfest.

Summerfest is the small, independent, family-friendly festival with a very big heart. Set in the beautiful Kent countryside near Canterbury, we bring together three days of brilliant live music, DJs, entertainment, great food, reasonably priced drinks and one of the friendliest festival crowds you’ll find anywhere.

And somehow, every year, it gets a little bit bigger and a little bit better.

Our line-up is deliberately eclectic because we think a great festival should have something for everyone.

Across the weekend you can expect an incredible mixture of live bands, well-known artists, brilliant tribute acts, emerging local talent and DJs, with music spanning pop, indie, rock, ska, reggae, country, house, disco, drum & bass, trance and plenty more besides.

Previous Summerfest performers have included Scouting For Girls, Slipmatt, Graham Gold, Edele Andaya, THePETEBOX and a huge selection of fantastic bands, singers and DJs.

Our 2027 line-up will be revealed over the coming months, and we have some very exciting plans in the pipeline.

MORE THAN JUST A MUSIC FESTIVAL

Summerfest is designed to be enjoyed by the whole family.

Alongside the music you’ll find children’s entertainment and activities, inflatables, food vendors, bars, camping and plenty of space to relax with friends and family.

We deliberately keep Summerfest relatively small. With around 2,000 people, it has the atmosphere of a proper festival without losing the friendly community feel that makes it so special.

It’s the sort of festival where children make new friends, adults bump into people they haven’t seen for years and, by Sunday night, half the field seems to know each other.

GREAT VALUE – AND FOR A GOOD REASON

We work incredibly hard to keep Summerfest affordable.

We believe families should be able to enjoy a brilliant festival weekend without spending a small fortune, so our tickets and bar prices are kept as reasonable as we possibly can.

But there’s something else that makes Summerfest a little different.

The organisers don’t take a penny from the event.

Summerfest is organised by volunteers and all profits are donated to charities, local good causes and community organisations.

So while you’re dancing, singing, eating, drinking and having a fantastic weekend, you’re helping us make a genuine difference too.

Summerfest has sold out for the last two years, so we strongly recommend booking early – particularly if you want to take advantage of our cheapest ticket prices.

Camping will be available and we’ll be announcing lots more about the line-up, entertainment, food and everything else we have planned as we get closer to the festival.
