The Ben Carter Quartet is a modern jazz quartet that brings a youthful and refreshing energy to the Birmingham jazz scene. Made up of exciting young jazz musicians including Tom Henery (guitar), Thomas Marsh (bass) and Henry Wakley (drums), the group is led by Ben Carter (saxophone) and captures audiences with their vibrant feel and group interplay.
Having recently toured Carter's hometown of Southampton, the band now comes to Cambridge and will be playing brand new original compositions as well as music from Carter's debut album 'Pulsar'. If you love hearing new modern jazz with pulsating grooves and flowing melodies, you won't want to miss this!
