Oh my word what a day....it was like hearing Pieces of a Man through the depths of my heart, taking in the trauma, musical soothing and god given messages Gil Scott Heron bought to the masses. It felt like I got as close to the man as I could possibly get. Having Malik Al Nasir and Gil's daughter there to join the dots and keep the revolution alive was a beautiful thing. A day I will hold on to for many years to come, I know I will listen to all Gil's work more intently than I ever have. The only let down was the bar prices....over £8 for a beer and a bag of crisps...wow! That is too much to charge. Thanks for those who made it happen, I hope to see you again soon.

First time for me. Was expecting bit more of an intro and chat about Gil but enjoyed listening to album. Sat near the front and found sound bit loud and distorted tho.
