Join us at The Cocktail Club in Bristol on Thursday 12 November at 8pm for a singles party for people in their 30s and 40s. Ladies get a padlock, guys get a key, and the fun is in finding whose fits. It's the easiest ice-breaker going.

How it works

Say hello to our host when you arrive, get a drink and dive in. There's no timetable and no bell, so stay chatting as long as you like with the people you click with, and swap numbers whenever you're ready.

Good to know

Doors open half an hour before the start, and the nearest station is Bristol Temple Meads. Tickets are sold separately for ladies and guys to keep the numbers even, so book early to make sure of your place. MySpeedDate nights are run by Original Dating.

Can I come on my own?
Of course: most people do, and our host will make you feel at home.

Why are there separate tickets for ladies and guys?
So the numbers stay even and everyone gets to meet as many people as possible.

What if I'm a little outside the age range?
Don't worry about a birthday or two: the evening is at its best when everyone is roughly the same age.

Can I bring a friend?
Yes, book a ticket for each of you (a ladies' or guys' ticket each). We'll be in touch for their details after you book.

Who runs MySpeedDate nights?
Original Dating runs them on MySpeedDate's behalf, so you'll hear from Original Dating after you book to set up your account. That account is where you'll find your matches.

Can I get a refund?
Tickets can't be refunded or changed, so please double-check the date before booking.
