Review of BINGO LINGO XL - Document - Bristol - Step Into Christmas
Overall a kind of good experience, I went back and forth if I would recommend or not, because it was a good evening but ruined at the end! My sister got hit in the back of the head with a wine bottle, and a pitcher, admittedly plastic but this still hurt and shocked her, minding her own enjoying herself playing bingo!! This also meant that we missed out on playing the last game of bingo, with my group deciding to leave before the end! The place was majority younger people, and this mixed with drinking far too much clearly isn't a good combination! I get that this is a lively event but was shocked how fast the crowd changed from having a laugh to out of control, on a plus note staff were brilliant making sure my sister was ok! If you like your evenings extremely rowdy, then this is the place for you!

I didn't get to enjoy bingo lingo due to the over zealous doorman.
I was out with friend's ready to enjoy the evening. My friend however decided to light a cigarette inside the venue to which a member of staff told him to out the cigarette which he did but followed this up by escorting him outside the venue. I and another followed and tried to explain to the doorman that he mad a mistake and that was causing no trouble at all , he just unfortunately made a mistake by lighting up a cigarette's inside the venue. Whilst escorting my friend outside other doormen went too far physically by manhandling him in a manner as if he had been guilty of being violent or similar , which he hadn't been at all in any way. He could've simply been walked from the venue quietly without the unnecessary physicality he received. When we all reached outside , all three of us were told we couldn't go back inside even though 2 of us wasn't guilty of anything at all , so feel I was robbed of a night out I had paid for. For this reason I will never attend again. I appreciate the premises come across a lot of people displaying inappropriate or violent behaviour, but in our case this wasn't true. In my opinion a few over zealous doormen yet again spoiled what could've been a good night. Disappointed!!!!

It was good fun? But the venue was changed after buying ticket and wasn't clearly advertised that it was changed, we went to wrong place on the night and had to get a taxi to new venue, which wasn't as nice. The night itself was great fun.

Review of BINGO LINGO XL - Document - Bristol - The Halloween Special
Its an event for students. We were the oldest there. The set up of long tables if you aren’t sat at the front you can’t see the stage or what’s going on. You couldn’t hear the MCs so couldn’t follow the bingo. The drinks were a rip off. Having to use portaloos which after the first hour we’re blocked. We left at 9pm as we gave up.
