LULL x She Shucks - Photography wine & oysters

LULL began with listening. After moving to Brighton, acclaimed artist and photographer Laura El-Tantawy found herself tuning into the unique sounds of her new home: the sea, the wind, and always the gulls.

Co-curated with Laura Summerton and presented as part of Brighton Photo Fringe 2026, this multi-sensory exhibition explores themes of belonging and home through photography, moving images, and sound.

The immersive exhibition takes over Unit 6 in Duke’s Lane for a limited two-week run from October 3rd to October 16th.

To celebrate Laura’s striking photography and coastal exploration, an exclusive evening gathering - LULL × SHE SHUCKS - will take place on Thursday, October 15th.

You are invited to step inside the exhibition space for an intimate night celebrating photography and coastal flavours.
The evening features premium, freshly shucked oysters from Brighton's own pop-up oyster bar, She Shucks, and paired with a glass of wine.
Every ticket holder will also receive a signed limited edition LULL exhibition print to take home, making it a truly special night for photography and seafood lovers alike.
