Zero 7 will be digging out some of their favourite records for a special DJ set at Quarters in Brighton.
Zero 7 is an acclaimed British musical duo known for their lush, atmospheric soundscapes and soothing melodies, rooted in electronica, downtempo, and trip hop.
Formed by Sam Hardaker and Henry Binns, who first connected as teenagers in North West London, the pair honed their skills at the legendary RAK Studios.
Zero 7 gained recognition with their remix of Radiohead’s "Climbing Up The Walls" and went on to release their debut album, Simple Things which was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize and which sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide. . Their work often features collaborations with vocalists such as Sia, José González, and Sophie Barker, enriching their sound with elements of acid jazz, nu jazz, and soul.
Fila Brazillia is an influential English electronic music duo formed in 1990 in Kingston upon Hull by producers Steve Cobby and David McSherry. Known as key pioneers of the 1990s downtempo, ambient, and chillout movements, they became the flagship act of the iconic Pork Recordings label.
El Morpho are a Brighton based live electronic act founded by Timmy Seashoe and Vincent Rowland, members of Wobbly Squadron and King Porter Stomp.
Their music combines guitars, trumpet, electronic beats, and psychedelic textures to create a sound that blends funk, acid, and electronic influences.
The duo have released three EPs on Wobbly Records, with a fourth EP scheduled for release this winter.
