Big Beach Birthday Afterparty

Brighton's local self appointed mayor & HW Events head honcho Mikee Hollywood is throwing a special birthday afterparty with all his chums & party ravers at the phenomenal Quarters (former Zap/Arch Club) on Friday 17th July! This exclusive one off party will follow on after another Brighton legend finishes up playing nearby on the beach and will feature the cream of Brighton's clubbing scene over the last 30 plus years!!

First up is SoulShyne's Mick Fuller who is the undisputed Godfather of our local nightlife community. Mick started off his legendary residencies at the Escape Club & Kings 2 in the 80s; followed by the Zap Club & Helsinki in the 90s; then the HoneyClub & Ocean Rooms in the 00s! His deep soulful & rare groove tip has also lit up international nites around the world such as Soul Heaven & Defected in the House!

Next up is Capital Xtra Reloaded's Mike Panteli. Mike has pretty much graced every club in our buzzin City starting off with his iconic Chopper Choons nite at the Zap in the early 90s; thru to his unmissable classic House music residencies at Escape, Zap, Audio, Digital & The Arch! He's still playing out at all the big festivals, as well as his regular global radio shows ~ incl Capital Xtra's Reloaded with over 1.5 million listeners every week!!

Classically trained pianist Jon Byrne has continued to show his musical versatility after his starring appearance on Channel 4's The Piano! His banging Tech House nites with a sprinkling of sexy Hed Kandi style glitter have fired up our local venues Concorde 2, Horizon & Patterns over the last 20+ years! They include internationally famous brands such as Beefmince, Beyond, Trade & Fire; plus more local ones Wild Fruit, DPM & Sundown!!

Finally the birthday boy himself Mikee Hollywood has been terrorising his hometown's music scene with his fluorescent Speedos & Handbag House at all his favourite bars & clubs! It all started at the infamous Sky Bar; then Madame Geisha; then Ohso Social; then The Tempest; then Brighton i360; & then pretty much every other outdoor Summer beachfront venue that would have him!
