Goldie was billed as the headline act, which is why I was prepared to pay £35 for a day pass, but he didn't play, just tapped a tambourine occassionally! The event was mis-sold and enormously underwhelming!

I thought the festival lacked some unity. The food offerings were not great with some pretty poor hygiene scores on display on some of the vendors. Some of the acts in the tents were good but there was quote a lot of filler on the main stage and a 3 hour DJ set wasn't really worth the stage set up. Paying £25 per adult and £10 for a 3 year old (total £60) was excessive for what was provided. Some of the security staff were not at all friendly and not ideal for a family focused event. A lack of seating and shade was really notable on such a hot day. I doubt we'll be back another year.

AN ok festival, Overpriced for what it offered, but nevertheless a good day out. The food options were good, and the music variety ok. I think I'd have preferred the children's day as I didn't feel that the day benefited from being adults only.

I think Goldie as the headline act was disappointing which was a shame. Also the small bottles of water were too expensive so I think it should be ok to bring in your own water. It was an especially hot day! The venue was great and it had a friendly vibe. I had a great time but I felt the last minute tickets were overpriced. Also, please provide enough toilet paper!

First time to this festival - would I go again? I would if there were more activities / workshops for kids on offer, as there just simply weren't enough to choose from. I felt the food vendors were a little on the expensive side, as they so often are at these events and I would have loved to have brought my own small picnic, but as this was not allowed I chose to skip the food until I got home. The live music was the highlight as the artist line-up was energetic and created a great atmosphere. I would have liked to have seen more stalls all in all.

Fabulous event, as it was exceptionally hot barriers could have been changed slightly to give more shaded areas for families .

I thought it was great but just lacked a little 'theatre' . When the dragons and the bubble man came around the kids got really animated. There needed to be more of that kind of act mingling amongst the crowds. The weather obviously made a lot of people very lethargic and I'm sure if it had been a little cooler my kids would have wanted to participate more.
Their favourites were the story and circus tents, for us grown ups it had to be The House Gospel Choir, truly amazing.

Had a great day with friends and the family but wouldn't pay the same money next year. With only two live acts for the whole day I wouldn't call it a music festival so don't feel the £30 ticket price justified the additional activities.

Wasn't enough for the kids to do, you pay £30 for a family to get in but then you have to pay for everything inside, there was no free inflatables or anything fun for the kids to do. There was not enough shelter around the venue.

A great day out but please provide free drinking water!
We thoroughly enjoyed our day with the Beat Box workshop, story tent, House Gospel Choir, making slime and circus skills being some of our favourites.

We went to funk the family festival yestday and it was woo much fun. My baby is 15 months old and there was plenty for him to do and see. Plus lots of fun for the whole family . Even saw fat boy slim there! Loved jazzy b dj set as well. Plus it was super hot. Would recommend this event again and can't wait for next year xx

Wow I've just paid over £75 travelled over 50miles and spent a fortune (since we received email stating no food to be taking on site) only to discover plenty of people taking in food. Cleanly states All children's activities FREE!.. SHAME the face painting wasn't free and the spray paint plate spinning wasn't either! Don't get me wrong it was good, but it was an over priced FETE. Nothing more. Definitely wouldn't recommend and won't be visiting next year.. Sorry..
